Myth #2: Renting a vacation home will cost more than staying in a hotel.

Truth: Renting a vacation home can actually save you money when you look at the big picture. Eating all meals out can quickly add up to be a big expense, especially for families. Depending on your plans for the day, by eating some of your meals or snacks at the home will save you quite a lot of money.

Other savings include in home laundry which allows for packing less, saving you luggage fees, as well as no resort parking fees for each car you drive rent. Hotel parking fees is one of the most overlooked expense and an average week stay can cost a family an additional $150 or more per car.

Overall, when you break down the per person cost, vacation rental homes should be on the top of your vacation accommodation list the next time you travel.

Almost forgot to mention...just a few of the added perks of renting a vacation home: the privacy you gain, the space to spread out, multiple beds to rest comfortably, multiple bathrooms and much more!
